NFL Playoffs: Shaun Suisham Is Back To Normal

New, 1 comment

That familiar name just keeps popping up: Shaun Suisham. The former Washington Redskins kicker is playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers today against the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL Playoffs.

Suisham started his career with the Dallas Cowboys in 2005, joined the Redskins mid-way through the 2006 season after getting cut by the Cowboys, and then joined Dallas again for two games last year after getting cut by the Redskins. His last game with the Redskins was their overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints in which Suisham had a chance to win it with a late 23-yard field goal attempt.

As for today, following a solid season in which he made 14 of his 15 attempts, Suisham is back to his normal ways. He missed a 43-yard field goal try just prior to half time. That's the Suisham we all know so well.

With the game now in the fourth quarter though, Suisham just made a 35-yard field goal to give his team the lead.

But we're not bitter. Who needs Suisham when you've got Graham Gano?
