Jim Zorn Fired Again, This Time As Baltimore Ravens' Quarterbacks Coach

Well, gosh, this is an unfortunate scenario for former Redskins coach Jim Zorn. In 13 months, he has now been fired by two different teams. We all know that he was fired as the Redskins' head coach last December, but he ended up hooking on as the Ravens' quarterbacks coach. That is, until now.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Ravens have fired Zorn and will look elsewhere.

Baltimore released its QB coach Jim Zorn today. Not a fit for either side. Zorn is expected to draw interest from other teams.

This comes only a little while after Zorn was rumored to be in the mix to be the next offensive coordinator in Cleveland or Seattle, so it's interesting timing. Either Zorn made it clear he wanted to pursue those jobs, or he had more problems in Baltimore than it would seem. Schefter's note makes it seem like it was the latter situation.

Alas, maybe it's time to get Zorn out of the 40-mile radius that is Baltimore and Washington, D.C. May I suggest that we blast music on his drive away from the region?
