Donovan McNabb Will Be An ESPN Analyst For Super Bowl Week

It's easy to forget because there is still football going on, but the Redskins have been on vacation for almost a month now. And for Donovan McNabb, it's been even longer because he got the last three weeks paid leave by Mike Shanahan (which actually sounds kind of nice when you think about it like that). But don't worry about ol' number five, he's finding ways to stay busy, according to Rick Maese at Redskins Insider

McNabb will be working as an analyst next week for ESPN's coverage of the Super Bowl on location in Texas.

"We're excited to have Donovan back on ESPN as a part of our Super Bowl coverage," said ESPN senior coordinating producer Stephanie Druley. "We worked with him in previous years and he always has strong opinions and great insights on the game, the teams and especially the quarterback position."

What about the Super Bowl is he going to analyze? How to lose your lunch in crunch time? Kidding, sort of. I'm actually looking forward to this. McNabb is great on camera, and should have some good insight into the big game having played in it himself. I just can't wait to see the look on his face when somebody mentions Shanahan's name for the first time.
