A lot of athletes like to claim that they don't pay attention to things written or said about them, when in reality they know and see all just like anyone in their spot would. Washington Redskins running back Roy Helu, though, appears to be an exception. From Rick Maese's excellent profile of him in the Washington Post.
↵↵↵"He’s a guy who lives without cable and television and Internet," [Nebraska teammate and New York Giants corner Prince] Amukamara said. "He doesn’t need that. He’s such a simple guy. He doesn’t really need much. He’s not someone who’d ever need to spend a lot of money on anything."

In other words, Helu won't ever see this post. Guess there's no point in continuing to write it.
