Week 4 NFL Injury Report: Darrel Young, Anthony Armstrong Inactive For Redskins

Starting fullback Darrel Young will miss the game against the St. Louis Rams, highlighting a list of inactives that also includes wide recievers Anthony Armstrong and Leonard Hankerson. In a release from the team, fullback Mike Sellers is expected to line up in Young's starting spot. That move will probably make many fans happy, as Sellers served the starting fullback role for years in Washington. For those that liked seeing Chris Cooley lined up at fullback last week against the Cowboys, the Redskin offense may still deploy Cooley in the backfield this week to break up the action on the 36-year-old Sellers.

All of the following layers made the Oct. 2 inactive list: WR Armstrong, WR Hankerson, FB Young, CB Brandyn Thompson, FB Markus White, OT Willie Smith, and DL Darrion Scott.

Armstrong's loss should mean more passes to Santana Moss, Fred Davis and Jabar Gaffney.  Receiver Donte' Stallworth could also have a presence in the Washington passing attack. Last Monday night against the Cowboys, both Moss and Gaffney caught five passes for a combined 130 yards. Stallworth did not register a catch.
