The Washington Redskins will have to contend with St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson when the two teams square off on Sunday. According to the latest injury update, Jackson will be active for St. Louis and is expected to start in the 1 p.m. game.
Jackson technically played last week vs. the Baltimore Ravens, but only carried the ball four times. The game was a blowout, so there was no sense in pushing his quadriceps injury. Jackson was taken out early in the Rams' Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, missed the team's Week 2 loss to the New York Giants and barely played last week. On the season, he is averaging 13.2 yards per carry on just six carries.
