After having a 17-0 lead, Washington has allowed 10 unanswered points to a Rams team that was anemic on offense for most of the day. Now, with just under six minutes to go in the game, the home team is down by just one possession.
The Redskins have only themselves to blame for allowing the Rams to get back into the game. A Rex Grossman interception (which was tipped by Santana Moss) gave the Rams life, as they were able to have their first score in a potential comeback.
Washington has an opportunity to close this game out by scoring once more or simply holding the ball for the rest of the quarter. If they can, they will head into the bye week at 3-1.
