Redskins Vs. Panthers Score Update: Jonathan Stewart Touchdown Gives Panthers 23-13 Lead

It didn't take long for the Carolina Panthers to respond to John Beck's touchdown in their game against the Washington Redskins. On their ensuing drive, the Panthers marched down the field, eventually cashing in when Jonathan Stewart scored on a two-yard touchdown run. The Panthers now lead, 23-13.

The drive began with a long pass from Cam Newton to Steve Smith on first down. Smith beat the Redskins' defense and got the ball to midfield. After another Newton-to-Smith connection, Carolina's running game took over. DeAngelo Williams powered through for some runs, and Newton even executed an option pitch to Williams for several yards. Eventually, Stewart ended the drive with the touchdown and the 10-point lead.
