Brandon Jacobs On Washington Redskins: 'I Knew Their Luck Would Run Out'

The Washington Redskins have lost three of their past four games after a 2-0 start, and one member of a division rival is feeling like Nostradamus right now. In a wide-ranging interview with Men's Health that has made news for different reasons, New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs said he figured the Redskins would start losing.

Sports Illustrated picked the Eagles to run away with the NFC East, followed by the Cowboys, then the Giants. Do you get a kick out of hearing all the hype and then watching those guys fall flat?

No question. They have a lot of talent and they’re very well coached, but it’s so thrilling for me to see the Eagles and Cowboys lose like they’ve been doing. It’s so refreshing. Washington, fortunately they started losing; I knew their luck would run out sooner or later.

Of course you did, Brandon. Obviously, that 28-14 Week 1 win where Ryan Kerrigan and the defense dominated your offense was the product of luck. Obviously, if that game was played 100 times, the Giants would win 95. Nailed it, buddy.
