As expected, fullback/tight end Mike Sellers will be ruled out for the Washington Redskins when they take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Sellers suffered a back injury in the weight room earlier in the week, and he is listed as out on the team's official injury report.
After suffering the injury, Sellers spent Thursday night in the hospital. He did not practice on Friay, so it's no surprise that he would not play on Sunday.
Sellers is not a starter anymore, so his absence isn't as huge a loss as it might have been. However, the Redskins do not have a lot of depth at tight end after the loss of Chris Cooley, and Sellers may have been able to help there. Washington also only has two running backs on the 53-man roster, with fullback Darrel Young making three.
