2011 NFL Standings: Redskins Still Hold Share Of NFC East Lead

There is still one game left in the NFL's Week 4, but all four teams in the NFC East have already played. Here is a quick look at the standings in the Redskins' division.

Washington escaped from St. Louis with a 17-10 victory and are now a surprising 3-1 on the season. They are tied for first place in the division with the Giants, who managed a comeback victory on the road against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Because the Redskins beat those Giants in the first game of the season, the 'Skins still technically hold a lead over them.

The Dallas Cowboys are in second place in the division at 2-2 following their epic collapse against the Detroit Lions. They have a win over the Redskins which could be important if they end up being tied when the season comes to an end.

Bringing up the rear in the Division is the surprising team of the year, and not in a good way. The Philadelphia Eagles were the popular pick to win the Division before the year, but after a very slow start, they sit at just 1-3. But they still have a lot of talent and could probably claw their way back in the division before the end of the season.
