No matter what happens during the rest of NFL Week 8, the New York Giants will remain in first place in the NFC East. The Giants fell behind the winless Miami Dolphins early, but managed to rally late and come away with a 20-17 victory at the Medowlands.
The Giants fell behind 14-3 early on, but managed to come back in the fourth quarter. Eli Manning found Victor Cruz for a 25-yard touchdown to give the Giants the lead for good with 5:58 remaining in the game. Miami tried to come back, but Matt Moore was picked off on fourth and 23 by Corey Webster with 1:44 remaining.
Manning was outstanding in the game, throwing for 349 yards and two touchdowns. Reggie Bush starred for the Dolphins, rushing for 103 yards on 15 carries.
Dallas and Philadelphia will square off later on Sunday night in other NFC East action.
