The latest batch of NFL Power Rankings are out over at SBNation.com, and the Washington Redskins are this close to being a top 10 team in the NFL. SB Nation's Joel Thorman has the Redskins at No. 11 this week coming into their bye, two spots higher than last week. Here's what Thorman has to say about the Redskins.

Quietly, the Redskins have put together a 3-1 record. They have a division game this weekend against the Eagles before a four-game streak of very winnable games.

Frankly, at this point, a game against the 1-3 Eagles is winnable too. Those four games Thorman is speaking about, by the way, are at Carolina, at Buffalo, at home vs. San Francisco and at Miami. Winnable? Sure, but probably not quite as easy as games at home against Arizona or on the road against St. Louis.

The Redskins are the highest NFC East team on the list, with the New York Giants (12), Dallas Cowboys (16) and Eagles (20) behind them. Here are the 10 teams in front of Washington.

  1. Green Bay Packers
  2. Baltimore Ravens
  3. New Orleans Saints
  4. New England Patriots
  5. Detroit Lions
  6. San Diego Chargers
  7. Houston Texans
  8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  9. New York Jets
  10. Buffalo Bills
