Tony Romo gets trolled a lot because he's the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, gets promoted by mainstream media for being better than he is and played a huge role in Dallas' 24-point collapse to the Lions last weekend. These are silly reasons to troll someone, you guys. Why would anyone troll Tony Romo? What is it with you people?
(Sorry, I couldn't type that with a straight face).
Anyway, this week, Chris Cooley got in on the action, and it was marvelous. Here's what Cooley said in his weekly appearance on "The LaVar Arrington Show with Chad Dukes" on 106.7 The Fan on Monday (audio here):
"It’s so good. I was watching the scoreboard in St. Louis and I didn’t see that they’d lost really until the end. I thought they blew them out so I kind of stopped paying attention. It’s amazing, amazing to watch him choke like that."
If that wasn't enough, he made another reference to Romo's choke job when asked who would win a cage fight between the two. Dan Steinberg has a more complete transcription of that part of the interview.
