Len Bias is finally getting his due, at least when it comes to the Washington Metropolitan Basketball Hall of Fame. The former Maryland basketball star will be inducted in a ceremony on November 9 at the North Bethesda Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
↵He'll be joined by a number of local hoops legends, including Montrose Christian coach Stu Vetter, former Bullets star and current Wizards play-by-play analyst Phil Chenier, former Bullets general manager Bob Ferry, Georgetown radio voice Rich Chvotkin and Maryland radio voice Johnny Holliday. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.
