The New York Giants fell, 36-25, to the Seattle Seahawks at home, which caused them to fall from being in a first-place tie.
In addition, the Philadelphia Eagles fell to 1-4 with a 31-24 loss to the Buffalo Bills. That means the Eagles are two and a half games out of the NFC East lead coming into their game against the Redskins on October 16. Here are the latest NFC East standings:
