NFL Week 9 Power Rankings: Redskins Tumble To No. 24 In Fox's Latest

As one might expect for a team that’s lost three in a row and four of its past five, the Washington Redskins have tumbled precipitously in various media outlets’ Power Rankings. SB Nation, CBS and ESPN all bumped the Redskins out of the top 20. Add FOX to that list as well. Brian Billick, the former Super Bowl winning coach and current analyst for FOX, put Washington at No. 24 in his latest poll.

Redskins: No. 24
Record: 3-4.
Last Week: 21Mike Shanahan was shut out for the first time ever in his long head-coaching career, and his defense wasn’t stopping the Bills either. This is a team that was once atop of the division and has taken a free-fall. I think it’s clear, neither John Beck nor Rex Grossman is the answer.

The Redskins look to get back in the win column this Sunday when they host the 5-1 San Francisco 49ers.
