Redskins Vs. Dolphins: Ryan Torain Starting Over Roy Helu At RB, According To Report

Fantasy football players, Mike Shanahan has thrown you another curveball. The Washington Redskins' coach has elected to start Ryan Torain at running back over Roy Helu for the team's game against the Miami Dolphins, according to a report by Mike Jones of the Washington Post.

The move is surprising because Helu played very well in his first start against the 49ers. The fourth-round rookie had 146 total yards from scrimmage, including 14 catches for 105 yards. Despite that, Shanahan has elected to go back to Torain, who hasn't done much this season outside of a breakout performance against the St. Louis Rams in Week 4.

Torain and Helu are the only two Redskins running backs active. It remains to be seen how they split the carries.
