Just when it looked like the Washington Redskins were going to score, Rex Grossman's penchant for interceptions struck again. Grossman threw a brutal interception to Karlos Dansby inside the Dolphins' 10-yard line, killing a potential scoring drive and allowing the Miami Dolphins to maintain a 13-9 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Two big plays allowed the Redskins to keep the drive alive. First, Roy Helu rushed for a tough three yards on third and three to pick up a first down. Then, on third and nine, Grossman found Leonard Hankerson for a big gain down inside the 10-yard line. Unfortunately for Redskins fans, Grossman locked on Jabar Gaffney on the interception, making it easy for Karlos Dansby to intercept the pass
