Andre Carter, Carlos Rogers Rub Salt Into Redskins Fans' Wounds

As if Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins wasn't bad enough for Washington Redskins fans, the following things also happened in other games:

  1. Carlos Rogers intercepted two passes in the San Francisco 49ers' 27-20 win over the New York Giants. He now has five picks in nine games this season. He had a total of five interceptions in his final four seasons for the Redskins.
  2. Andre Carter had four (!) sacks in the New England Patriots' 37-16 win over the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football. In nine games with New England this season as a part-time pass rusher, Carter has nine sacks and 23 tackles. In 16 games with the Redskins in 2010 as a part-time pass rusher, Carter had 2.5 sacks and 25 tackles.

Oh yeah, and the two players also play for teams with a combined record of 14-4. Way to kick a fanbase while its down, you guys.
