The Washington Redskins suffered more bad news on the injury front, as defensive lineman Kedric Golston is expected to be placed on injured reserve after suffering a serious knee injury. Rich Campbell of the Washington Times reports that Golston suffered a fully-torn MCL and a partially-torn ACL in the Redskins' 20-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Coach Mike Shanahan revealed the news in his press conference on Monday. Darrion Scott, who was recently released, tweeted that he is on his way to Ashburn, presumably to replace Golston on the roster.

Golston was a starter last year, but had become a reserve with the additions of Stephen Bowen and Barry Cofield. His loss limits the Redskins' defensive line depth even further. Second-round rookie Jarvis Jenkins is already out for the season after going to injured reserve in the preseason.
