It appears that London Fletcher's consecutive-games streak will reach 217 when the Washington Redskins face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Fletcher had been bothered by an ankle injury earlier in the week, but he is listed as probable on the official Redskins' injury report on Friday.
Fletcher surprised many media members by sitting out of practice on Wednesday and emerging with his foot in a walking boot. However, he practiced on a limited basis on Thursday and practiced even more fully on Friday. He has yet to miss an NFL game in his career, which is why it was surprising to see him hurt. However, it looks like the consecutive games streak will indeed continue.
