Jabar Gaffney Fantasy Projection: Washington Redskins' WR Is Bye-Week Fill-In For Deep Leagues

The Washington Redskins' wide receiving core has been decimated so thoroughly that Jabar Gaffney may be a decent fantasy football bye-week fill in for some really deep leagues. The Redskins square off against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and while the Redskins' passing game is pretty bad, someone has to put up some numbers. Gaffney against a Cowboys secondary missing Mike Jenkins is a possible option.

Keep in mind who is not playing for Washington. Leonard Hankerson, who had a big game against the Dolphins, is injured. So are Santana Moss and Niles Paul. Fred Davis, the tight end, will get targets, but teams have shut him down recently. That leaves Gaffney, who is probably good for at least the 5.12 points numberfire.com projects him to get.

Hey, you could do worse.
