NFL Power Rankings, Week 12: Will Washington Redskins Get Sympathy Votes?

Where will the Washington Redskins stand in this week's NFL Power Rankings? For playing a competitive game, we move them up a couple spots from the bottom.

The Washington Redskins lost again on Sunday, but it was a close loss to the Dallas Cowboys this time. Will that earn them any sympathy votes in the various Week 12 NFL Power Rankings on Tuesday? Only time will tell, but we think it should. We moved the Redskins up slightly in this week's edition of SB Nation D.C.'s NFL Power Rankings.

It also helped that two teams ranked above the Redskins last week. For now, the Redsins still are near the bottom, and they likely will be all season. But for being competitive, we'll throw them a bone.

Here are the SB Nation D.C. Week 12 Power Rankings: Last week's ranking in parenthesis.
