Redskins Vs. Seahawks Score Update: Teams Tied At 7 At Halftime Of Chippy Game

The Washington Redskins offense continued to move the ball in the second quarter, but turnovers and special team miscues kept the team from scoring. Quarterback Rex Grossman threw his first interception of the game and the Seattle Seahawks quickly converted the error into a touchdown. That was the only score of the quarter, and the two teams, who have fought all game after the whistle, are tied at seven at halftime.

The Redskins have doubled the offensive production of Seattle, though Grossman's interception and a blocked Graham Gano field goal allowed the Seahawks to be tied on the scoreboard. Gano's blocked kick came after a long Redskins drive stalled out in the Seattle red zone.

Seattle's touchdown came when quarterback Tarvaris Jackson found running back Marshawn Lynch for what looked like a quick screen play. Lynch turned on his speed and made the Redskins tacklers miss, dancing 20 yards for the touchdown.
