For many, the Washington Redskins' 23-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks was actually a negative. The win hurt the Redskins' 2012 NFL Draft position, and for many fans, that is all that matters. Instead of being in a tie for the fourth-worst record with the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars and Carolina Panthers at 3-8, the Redskins are in a seven- and potentially eight-way tie for the seventh-worst record with the following teams:
- San Diego Chargers
- Cleveland Browns
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Arizona Cardinals
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Kansas City Chiefs (if they lose to Pittsburgh on Sunday night)
Of course, there's also another way to look at the NFL standings, as NFL Network reminds us.
