Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis, the team's top threat in the passing game, is listed as questionable for the Redskins' game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Davis is suffering from an ankle injury that he sustained against the Buffalo Bills, and he was limited in practice on Friday.
Coach Mike Shanahan didn't say much about Davis' status, except to say that he was limited. Davis joins Oshiomogho Atogwe, Trent Williams and Phillip Buchanon as questionable for the game.
Davis was spotted in a walking boot on Monday, which is when the possibility of him missing games first was raised. It seemed like his injury had improved earlier in the week, but we'll see on Sunday.
