San Francisco 49ers Injury Report And Inactive List: Ray McDonald Out Vs. Redskins

The San Francisco 49ers' injury report and inactive list for their Week 9 game against the Washington Redskins confirms what most suspected throughout the week. Defensive end Ray McDonald will not play for the 49ers due to a hamstring injury.

The loss of McDonald will cause the 49ers to shuffle around their defensive line. Ricky Jean Francois will move into the starting role at McDonald's left defensive end position, and rookie Demarcus Dobbs is now the backup. Rookie Ian Williams has also been made active and will be the backup nose tackle.
