The New York Giants took firm command of the NFC East with a thrilling 24-20 win over the New England Patriots on the road on Sunday. Eli Manning led the Giants back with a drive in the final minute, eventually finding tight end Jake Ballard for a one-yard touchdown to give the Giants the win.
The Giants got the ball back with just over a minute remaining after Tom Brady found Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown on fourth down to give New England a 20-17 lead. The Giants marched the ball down the field, with the key plays being a long pass from Manning to Ballard earlier on the drive and a pass interference call that brought the ball to the one-yard line.
The win moves the Giants to 6-2 on the season and puts them two games ahead of the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.
