Niles Paul Injury Update: Redskins WR Could Return Against Jets Sunday Afternoon

The Washington Redskins look to build on the momentum established during last Sunday's win over the Seattle Seahawks when they host the New York Jets at Fed Ex Field in Week 13. Riding a six-game losing streak in last weekend, the Redskins overcame a ten-point deficit to edge the Seahawks in the game's final minutes, 23-17. They'll next face a Jets squad who is also coming off a critical win last week and trying to stay in the hunt in the AFC wild card race heading into the final quarter of the 2011 NFL season.

The Redskins welcomed Santana Moss back into the fold after the star WR had been shelved with a broken hand. This Sunday, the 'Skins might also be welcoming back Niles Paul, who's been out since Week 9 with a turf toe injury. The rookie out of Nebraska, who has just two catches on the season, practiced on Thursday. Paul could be used more regularly in the passing game if he is in fact healthy enough to play this week and for the remainder of the season. Receivers Jabar Gaffney (foot) and Terrence Austin (hamstring) were limited.

In other Thursday practice news, fullback Darrel Young (concussion), safety LaRon Landry (groin) and defensive end Stephen Bowen (knee) all missed practice today.
