VIDEO: DeAngelo Hall Watches Rob Gronkowski Drag Redskins Defenders Downfield

Several weeks ago, Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall was so distraught after a loss to the Dallas Cowboys that he told reporters that the Redskins should cut him. At the time, it sounded like a coping mechanism as he dealt with the pain of a tough loss. A few weeks later, it looks like that's all it was.

Because, you see, if Hall really was worried about being cut, he probably wouldn't have done what he did on Rob Gronkowski's long catch for the New England Patriots on Sunday.

As Gronkowski stands up, Gomes and Reed Doughty run over to try to tackle him. Gronkowski was slowed, but still kept his feet moving upfield as the two safeties tried to help. Meanwhile, Hall stood there, figuring his help wasn't needed. He was right in the middle of the play and turned into a spectator anyway.

Gronkowski shed both Gomes and Doughty and ripped off a big play. That might have been something Hall would have wanted to prevent.
