Washington Redskins rookie running back Roy Helu continued his late season success on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Helu broke the century mark for the third straight game, just two weeks after setting his career high with 108 yards on the ground against Seattle. On Sunday, Helu set another career high in his rookie season with 126 yards on 27 carries against the Patriots porous defense. Despite the success on the ground and the 27 points on the board, Helu was still held out of the end zone by the Pats. Just one week after being the only ball carrier for the Skins with a rushing attempt, Helu was spelled by Even Royster who also had some success against New England.
The Skins starting running back had a relatively quiet day as a pass catcher, snagging on two catches from Rex Grossman for six yards. Fantasy owners have to be pleased as Helu continues to improve during the most crucial weeks of the fantasy season.
