The Washington Redskins welcomed wide receiver Donte Stallworth back to practice on Thursday ahead of their game with the New York Giants this weekend after Stallworth missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury. And though he remains limited in practice, offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan likes what he brings to the Redskins' offense.
"I just like the power he plays with and his aggressive hands," Shanahan said, via Redskins public relations. "He doesn’t catch it looking for a place to fall. He’s trying to get up the field. That’s something we need and gives us a chance to make a play."
Three other Redskins missed practice on Thursday: tackle Jammal Brown (groin), fullback Mike Sellers (elbow) and safety LaRon Landry (groin/achillies).
Defensive end Stephen Bowen (knee), safety Reed Doughty (rib), linebacker London Fletcher (ankle) and punter Sav Rocca were limited in practice in addition to Stallworth.
