Rex Grossman and the Washington Redskins host the Minnesota Vikings Sunday afternoon, and the woeful Vikings secondary could mean the Washington quarterback is in for a huge day.
Minnesota's pass defense is ranked 30th in the league, and the Vikings have allowed 31 touchdown passes while grabbing just six interceptions (none of those picks have come in the last nine games). Minnesota allows 271.9 yards passing per game.
With running back Roy Helu banged up, look for Grossman to throw a lot on Sunday, and even if he tosses his customary two picks, the net outcome should be huge positive fantasy points courtesy of the Vikings secondary.
The fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Grossman as the 11th best option at quarterback this weekend. The Washington QB's projected stats: 20.30/32.67, 241.09 yds, 1.72 TDs, 1.06 INTs for 15.42 points.
For the season, Grossman has completed 58.3 percent of his passes for 2,611 yards, 13 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.
