Jabar Gaffney Fantasy Projection: Expect Big Day From Rex Grossman's New Favorite Target

The Minnesota Vikings come to FedEx Field Sunday, sporting the 30th-ranked pass defense in the league. Rex Grossmand and his wide receiving corps should be licking their chops. The Vikings have allowed 271.9 yards passing per game and a whopping 31 touchdowns through the air.

This bodes very well for Jabar Gaffney, Grossman's new favorite passing option in the absence of tight end Fred Davis. In the past two weeks, Gaffney has been targeted 17 times, catching 12 balls for 177 yards and a score. For the season, Gaffney is averaging 60.1 yards receiving per game.

The fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Gaffney as the 22nd best option at wide receiver this weekend. The Washington WR's projected stats: 4.36 rec for 63.19 yds, 0.28 TDs for 8.11 points.

For the season, Gaffney has caught 58 passes for 842 yards and four touchdowns.
