Vikings Vs. Redskins Score Update: Donte Stallworth TD Cuts Vikings Lead

The Minnesota Vikings took an early 10-0 lead on the Washington Redskins after an Adrian Peterson touchdown run, and it looked like it might get out of hand for the Redskins early on. The Redskins took the opening kickoff at the 40-yard line, thanks to a kickoff out of bounds by the Vikings and then quarterback Rex Grossman went to work.

Grossman connected on the first pass to Jabar Gaffney for 11-yards to immediately move the chains. After a nice run by rookie Evan Royster, who's filling in for the injury Roy Helu, the Redskins picked up a penalty putting the skins in second and long. Grossman was able to connect with fullback Darrel Young for 16-yards and pick up the first down. A few plays later, Grossman was able to connect with Donte Stallworth for the 5-yard touchdown pass to cut the lead to 10-7.
