Rex Grossman Fantasy Projection: Washington Redskins' Quarterback Probably Worth Avoiding

With strong performances by his standards in the past two weeks, many fantasy football owners in deep leagues have turned to Rex Grossman as a legitimate fantasy option. That should probably stop, though, against a Jets defense that features a strong secondary.

New York has fallen off a bit on defense as a whole, but with Darrelle Revis leading the way, they boast a very strong pass defense. Grossman has thrown for a lot of yards recently and it could happen again, but this is certainly going to be a stiffer test for him than the Dallas Cowboys or Seattle Seahaws. With nobody on a bye, probably best to look elsewhere.

Number Fire projects Grossman to finish with 12.13 fantasy points, which would not make him an especially good play.
