Jets Vs. Redskins Score Update: Santonio Holmes Touchdown Gives Jets 20-16 Lead

Mark Sanchez has finally come through for the New York Jets in the fourth quarter of their game against the Washington Redskins. After a dreadful first three quarters, he came up big on a drive midway through the fourth quarter, finding Santonio Holmes for a 30-yard touchdown pass to give the Jets a 20-16 lead with 4:49 remaining in the game.

Sanchez made the play with a beautiful pump fake to distract cornerback Josh Wilson. Holmes ran a slant and go and was wide open for the touchdown. Previously on the drive, Sanchez converted a third and four by scrambling and finding Shonn Greene for a 10-yard gain.

The Redskins had taken the lead on a field goal by Graham Gano. They will now need to rally to get the win.
