Jets Vs. Redskins Final Score: Shonn Greene Scores Three Times, Jets Win, 34-19

What was a low-scoring, tight game for most of the way turned into a blowout late at FedEx Field. The New York Jets scored three touchdowns in the final five minutes to rally for a 34-19 win over the Washington Redskins on the road. Shonn Greene scored two of those touchdowns to ice the game, and Santonio Holmes caught the go-ahead score for New York.

The Redskins led, 16-13, midway through the fourth quarter on a Graham Gano field goal, but Mark Sanchez led the Jets back. First, he pump-faked and found Holmes for a 30-yard touchdown to put the Jets up 20-16 with just under five minutes remaining. After Rex Grossman fumbled, the Jets recovered deep in Redskins territory and increased their lead when Greene scored an 11-yard touchdown out of the Wildcat. The Redskins tacked on a field goal, but the Jets recovered the onside kick and got a 25-yard touchdown run from Greene on their first play afterwards.

Greene had three touchdowns on the day, rushing for 88 yards total. Sanchez threw for 165 yards and a touchdown in an erratic game, while Grossman was just 19-46 for 221 yards, an interception and the fumble lost.

The Jets move to 7-5 with the win, while the Redskins fall to 4-8.
