'SB Nation Radio,' Episode 16: TV Ratings Say This Is A Capitals Town; What Does That Mean?

According to the latest local television ratings, over 25 percent more people watch the Washington Capitals play than the Washington Wizards. Now, this is due in large part to the Capitals being good and the Wizards being terrible, but it does signal an interesting changing of the guard in this city. So what happens when/if the Wizards rebound and get better. Do they smash the Capitals in local ratings again? Do the Capitals still rise above them?

That's a topic Scott Jackson and Mike Prada discussed in this week's episode of SB Nation Radio on 106.7 The Fan. What does the Capitals' success, combined with the failures of everyone else, mean for the future of this city as a sports town? We're curious to hear your thoughts on this one.

We also talk to SB Nation D.C.'s Daniel Shiferaw about the Redskins' offseason, preview the epic Wizards-Cavaliers toilet bowl with SB Nation's Cavaliers blog Fear the Sword and introduce you to the red-hot George Mason Patriots with Ryan Kish of GMUHoops.com. You can listen to the show at 7 a.m. on Sunday morning on 106.7 The Fan.

Here are the four segments.

SB Nation Radio Part 1: Mike and Scott on the local TV ratings

SB Nation Radio Part 2: Daniel Shiferaw on the Redskins
