2011 NFL Mock Draft: Is J.J. Watt A Good Fit For The Redskins?

The Redskins need help at quarterback and across the skill positions. And in many of the Mock Drafts you will see across the Internet, that is the type of player that is generally given to them. But they also need help along the defensive line as they continue to solidify their 3-4 defense.

With that in mind, SB Nation has given them a little bit more beef up front in their latest 2011 NFL Mock Draft with Wisconsin DE J.J. Watt. Here is their rationale.

There's a chance that Mike Shanahan rolls the dice on a quarterback he likes here. There's also a chance that they take a guy like Julio Jones to bolster their receiving corps. Watt, however, is a rising prospect that would immediately help Jim Haslett's still-evolving 3-4 defense.

Watt is a very good player, but I'm not sure that he has the ability to play a defined position in the 3-4. While he could probably help the Redskins defense, I would think that they would want to take someone who is a more natural fit in the scheme they want to employ.
