2011 NFL Mock Draft: Redskins Could Go Offense In First Two Rounds

Trying to guess the NFL Draft is somewhat of a fool's errand. Even in the first round, we have no idea what the teams are thinking, so trying to figure out whom they may pick doesn't make a ton of sense. Picking the first round is hard, but picking the entire draft is nearly impossible. The guys over at Opposing Views tried to do just that, and they had some interesting picks for the Redskins.

In the first round, they have the Redskins taking USC offensive lineman Tyron Smith. Smith has gone to the Cowboys one pick before the Redskins in most of the recent mocks I have seen, so I don't think he will be on the board for the Redskins. But if he is, I think he would be a good selection.

They have the Redskins taking Jake Locker in the second round. Like Smith the pick before, I would be surprised to see Locker available at that pick. But I think the Redskins would be ecstatic if he was.

After that it gets a little bit hairy because the Redskins don't pick again for about 100 selections, so we'll just keep it there. I think this would be a good draft for the Redskins, but I also don't think it is a very realistic one.
