It appears Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has something to keep himself busy during the NFL lockout, courtesy of the Northampton County, VA tax office: paying back property taxes. Via delmarvanow.com:
↵↵↵A process has begun to sell at auction the Northampton County home of Washington Redskins football star DeAngelo Hall, who owes thousands in back taxes on the property.
↵Northampton County Treasurer Cindy Bradford said Hall owes a total of $24,202.06 in delinquent taxes including penalty and interest for 2008, 2009, and 2010. She said after taxes are delinquent for three years, it is turned over to the county's tax collection attorney.

Apparently, the county tax office mailed bills to Hall that were never received. So this could all just be one big misunderstanding. Hall has several months to pay back the taxes, but word of warning DeAngelo, don't let that house get to auction, lest this man come and snatch it right out from under you.
