Free Agency Could Start By The End Of The Week, According To Report

One thing is for sure, and that's football is going to come back. The only question now is what the time table will for the resumption of football business.

Here is the timeline that Mark Maske of the Washington Post has laid out (via twitter) for the potential start of football business:

Teams would be allowed to sign draft picks and rookie free agents Tuesday, and begin talking to veteran free agents.

Free agent signings would begin Friday at 6 p.m.

Training camps would open Wednesday for 10 teams, Thursday for 10 teams, Friday for 10 teams and Sunday for two teams.

Needless to say, this is an aggressive timeline that would likely put the Redskins back in camp by the end of the week.

With these timelines still unofficial, it will be interesting to see if the Redskins will have to start free agency simultaneous to training camp.

We will find out later today.
