Maryland football linebacker Alex Wujciak is the latest undrafted free agent to agree to terms with a team for training camp. Wujciak has signed with the Cleveland Browns, according to Mike Wilkening of Pro Football Weekly.
Wujciak was the defensive anchor for a very strong Terps defense throughout his college career, and is certainly one of the most accomplished linebackers in Terps history. But he didn't get selected in the 2011 NFL Draft, perhaps because of questions about his size and speed. In Cleveland, though, Wujciak will have an opportunity to impress an NFL team that could always use more help on the defensive side of the ball.
Wujciak is one of several former Maryland players who have signed with NFL teams in the past couple days. For a complete list of Maryland undrafted free agents, visit Testudo Times.
