Redskins Training Camp News: Brian Orakpo Sounds Off On Albert Haynesworth

Star Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo addressed the media on Tuesday and was not shy at all about sharing his feelings on Albert Haynesworth, Donovan McNabb and other issues facing the franchise.

Here's one soundbite, via Grant Paulsen of 106.7 The Fan, about the linebacker's feelings on the 'Skins' past struggles and personnel drama, which he described as "nonsense."

"It wears you down.. Last year and the years previous we talked to much about individuals that had problems with the organization."

Here's how the linebacker feels about the possibility of playing another season with Big Al, drama aside:

"I would love to play with Albert. We did great things our first year. He's a phenomenal athlete when he's on field & ready to go."

In my opinion, the quote of the day came when Orakpo aptly summed up what was missing from the Redskins' team culture:

"We need to stop talking as a great team and start doing some action out here and start preparing as a great team."

Good on Orakpo for speaking up. Here's hoping for some action now.
