The Redskins keep adding to the list of their undrafted free agent rookie pool, as they have now apparently signed South Florida tight end Kevin Gidrey.
This according to Rick Maese of the Washington Post, who noted Gidrey's twitter declaration:
Undrafted free agent Kevin Gidrey (@KGidrey45) tweets that he's joining the Redskins. Gidrey was a TE for South Florida
Gidrey is an interesting sigining for the team, as they appear to be deep at the tight end position. Chris Cooley and Fred Davis appear to be on the top of the depth chart there, with second year man Logan Paulsen looking to retain his spot. Time will tell if Gidrey winds up competing for the third tight end spot this training camp.
