One day after re-signing Santana Moss to a three-year contract, the Washington Redskins have reportedly signed another 2011 NFL free-agent wide receiver. The team has inked a one-year contract with veteran wide receiver Donte' Stallworth, according to a report by Pro Football Talk.
Stallworth has played for four different teams in the last four years after beginning his career with the New Orleans Saints in 2002. Last season, he had just two catches in eight games for the Baltimore Ravens. His best season was in 2005 with the Saints, when he caught 70 passes for 945 yards and seven touchdowns. He has played for the Eagles, Patriots, Browns and Ravens since then.
It remains to be seen if this has any impact on the Redskins' reported pursuit of New York Jets receiver Santonio Holmes, which reportedly continued even after Moss was signed.
