The Washington Redskins are clearly loading up on wide receivers early in this 2011 free agency period. The latest wide receiver to join the roster is Brandon Stokley, who has signed with the team according to his agent. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that he will sign a one-year deal.
Stokley is a 12-year veteran who last played for the Seattle Seahawks. Last season, he caught 31 passes for 354 yards in 11 starts. His best season was in 2004, when he caught 68 passes for 1,077 yards and 10 touchdowns while with the Indianapolis Colts.
Stokley joins a long list of receivers on the roster right now. In fact, here is that list.
