Albert Haynesworth Trade To Patriots Not Complete, Says Bill Belichick

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick gave a scheduled media address at the Patriots' practice facility, and in typical Belichick fashion, he declined to say that the Albert Haynesworth trade has been completed. Haynesworth has been dealt from the Patriots to the Redskins for a 2013 fifth-round pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, but Belichick would only say that the Patriots are "in the process" of trading for him.

"We're in the prcoess of acquiring haynesworth, but that's not complete yet," Belichick said in a press conference streamed live. "We'll talk about it when it's finished, if it's finished. Not there yet."

To a certain extend, this is just Belichick being Belichick. But it's true that there are also things to work out. It should not mean that the trade is in jeopardy; only that the teams would like to control the message.
